Literal Translation: "A person is a person through other persons."
Meaning and Illustration of Responsible Connection: This is perhaps the most famous African proverb articulating a philosophy of interconnectedness, known as Ubuntu. It means that our humanity is not a solitary state but is defined by our relationships with others. To be a responsible, ethical, and complete human being, one must actively recognize the humanity in others and participate in the community with respect, compassion, and reciprocity.
Responsibility: It implies a duty to treat others well because their well-being is intrinsically tied to your own. You have a responsibility to build up others, as they, in turn, build you up.

Its day 12 and a good day to learn about Responsible Social Connection
As we conclude on this series, there is no better way to end this that to realize that no man or woman is an Island. We were made to be with each other, and for each other.
Let us introduce the concept of UBUNTU.
Ubuntu Proverb (Southern Africa)
"Umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu."
So, let's join Tekena Ikoko, as he shows us Responsible Social Connection, which he aptly now renames as "UBUNTU HARMONY."
Let's hop in!
